Team Member volunteering was at a low 15%–20% participation rate. How could we raise that amount? That was the question that Rocket Homes was trying to answer. It was decided that branding the volunteering effort was the way to go.
I designed the Rocket Homes Good Neighbor logo to appeal to team members’ better nature by incorporating wings and a halo with the classic styling of the original hand-crafted lettering. After introducing the logo and an internal branding campaign, volunteering participation increased to nearly 85%.
